124000 km hat sein 2012er (vielleicht ist es eher ein 2011er?) also durchgehalten. RudiRadlos hatte hier kürzlich 145000 km geboten. Kennt jemand einen Nugget aus der Reihe 2009 - 11/2011 der mehr zu bieten hätte? Meiner, s.u., hat jetzt 95000 und ich bin bis heute wirklich zufrieden. Der Verbrauch auf der Autobahn je nach Tempo (100 - 130) zwischen 8 und 10 Litern. Landstraße auch darunter. Keine außergewöhnlichen Reparaturen, ordentlicher (regelmäßiger) Werkstattservice.

Nun denn, meiner hat aktuell 155.500 auf dem Tacho. Toi toi toi. Beim Motor Start sage ich ihm immer, wir schaffen noch die 200.000 zusammen.
Unsere Hoffnung ist, dass der Rost uns auch so lange gewähren lässt.

Evtl. liest ja jemand von Ford hier mit oder jemand macht jemanden auf diesen Thread aufmerksam. Vielleicht hat der Themenstarter auch sein Inspektionsheft dabei. Das wär doch mal etwas Gutes...

Hi Stifter,
meiner hat aktuell 140 000 km runter. Lediglich einmal Getriebeschaden im Febr. 2019, ansonsten schnurrt er einwandfrei. Das ein Euro 5 er mit Motorschaden liegen bleibt.... Oh Mann, da bin ich mal auf Radims Rückmeldung gespannt.

me too .
I wasn't check the situation at the service today, but will go tomorrow.
Hope that new engine will be already delivered and will pray for exchange finished until Saturday.
Otherwise we will have to wait an another week because of Turkish holidays.
We (me, my wife and our labrador) are fine, but children are getting to be bored day by day.
Kocaeli (Izmit) is an industrial area and we have already visited everything what can attract children .
By the way, traveling by taxi with dog is very difficult here, only 1/5 of taxi drivers is "dog friendly".
Write you more details as soon as possible.

Hello everybody here !!!

As the first, I do apologize for delay with my post, but easy say, I had no power to write anything until our return home.
Last weeks were full of very positive as well negative feelings, with so many contradictory advices from professional servicemen that I´m pretty happy that we reached home (of cause, last 450 km under security mode - but step by step ).

Guys at Esoto did the job on time - we got our Mr. Nugget back on Friday as promissed, and if I would push, even on Thursday evening we would be able leave Kocaeli. But we had no reason to do so, hotel was paid and I prefered to have every bolt double checked if stays on place. Nugget was perfectly washed - let say new motor, new look ...
Total price 35 000 TLR as signed before.

Engine was running as well as before, I would say that with absolutely same sound. I wouldn´t recognise the difference.

My happy family jumped into Mr. Nugget, we left hotel rooms and with 5 smiles on 5 faces drove to Istanbul.
We went direct to "Otopark" located in Fatih, just few meters to Blue Mosque (by the way the best camper friendly place in megacities I have ever seen). That time I wanted to send my post that everything is perfect as was before, but I was tired, so went sleep.
Next day we went to Grand Bazaar and somehow even our Labrador was permitted to entry (after 15 minutes long discussion with security and aggressivity check).
Until this moment everything was fine.

Late afternoon we decided to go to Maiden's Tower located on the second side Bosphorus. Because of our height we drove over bridge and I just checked the traffic situation at the rear mirrow against sun ... and ... smoke, smoke, smoke.
Much stronger smoke that you can imagine.
Since that moment was clear that return will be problematic.

As the first I contacted Esoto and got the information that we have still the same DPF filter.
Yes, my mistake, but I didn´t expect that will get our Nugget back with smoking engine and in Kocaeli looked everything fine (probably at lower speed without load).

I did my best to get an accurate information what we can expect in following days, but nobody was able say with sure what will come next.
Was clear that regeneraton on DPF will fail as well as engine security mode will be activated, but nobody said if after 500, 1000, or 2000 km.
The countdown has started and I must say, that beginnig was really very hard.
With every new kilometre on the clock we were closer to home and sometimes we got a positive wind that can reach home without any problem.
But physics is a physics and 450 km before the end, in Szombately, Hungary the engine mulfunction arose again on the display (I refused to go over Bulgaria and Serbia back home, therefore we went over Greece, Albania, Croatia and Hungary. Austria was off limits, because police would stop us very quickly).
We had to protect new engine, therefore went to Ford Strauss and waited for the diagnostic done on next morning.
Thanksfully disgnostic said DPF, no injectors or pistons.
Service offered us to clean DPF within 4 days (because of weekend), but we decided to continue home (with already 1600 driven kms you feel already just before home).
I was informed that engine will fall to security mode and we will be able to go 60-70 km/h at maximum.
Of cause, we reached security mode 5 km from the service, but engine was runnig very nice with maximum speed of 90 km on the flat Hungarian higway.
It was decent speed for next 450 km, so we decided to go and finally reached home.

I´m going to the service today again.
We will make a complete diagnostic and search for reason why engine smokes so strong.
Write you back again as I will know more.

By the way, Ford Motor Company says the following .....
"If you like to request Ford for sharing expences regarding engine exchange, you must do it there, where the repair was made or where you purchased the Nugget".

If so, I have only chance at Motto Gruppe Sticht Wunsiedel (MGS), where I purchased my Nugget.
I hope that MGS will do it's best for me and try get some funds back over Ford Motor Company.
.... we will see .... my future is linked again to MGS

A very good friend had exactly the same Problem with an MONDEO 2.2Tdci 110Ps built in 07 - 09 (i dont know exactly)
Engine activated the security mode because DPF couldn t start regeneration. In shouth France....

After 1000km he arrived at home. His Neighbor is a free service Station (Ex Ford where he bought the car) diagnosted this.
Because this Mondeo has run more than 500 000km with its first engine (and 1st DPF)
he got an other 2011er MONDEO with the same engine whith only 100 000km for roundabout 5000€.....so he didnt think about repairing.
FORD (and MGS) should know about this Problem.

Sorry because of my very "stony" englisch, I didn't write often in this language....
