Hi (apologies again for posting in English),

We have just returned from our first trip away in our 07 high top Nugget and were delighted with all aspects of the vehicle.

However, I am tall and heavy (115kg) and was a little concerned at the amount of weight I was putting on the top end of the bed when sitting up in bed using the driver's seat as a backrest.

I noticed that the very top end of the bed is above the back of the driver's and passenger's seat bases (exposed as the seats are set forward) and wondered whether a little extra support could be gained by adding (say) blocks of wood on top of the rear of the seat bases on which the top end of the bed could rest? Has anyone experimented with this approach?

By the way, we were sitting up on the bed due to typical British weather, watching a DVD on a 9\" portable player which I found could very conveniently fix onto the rear bench headrest in front of us!

hi, when watching a dvd it is also very helpfull to have a nightcup, so why dont you place a crate of ale under your bed?
supporting the bed and beiing close to the grog might be just the most reasonable solution!!!!!

thats how we did it in down under in our vw, beeing lots of times under the influence afterwards.

So that's what the gap is for, that is made when you move the bench seat forwards! Much better than for storing shoes!
