sorry for writing in English, but really need to get help for this question.....

Does somebody have experience with temporarily kitchen removal from the Nugget ?

Is the kitchen fixed to the rail system only ?

I need few times a year to use Nugget without the kitchen (with full rails length avaiable).

No problem with disconnected board battery, no problem with anything else. Just like to be informed how many minutes (hours) is needed for this operation ?

Any feedback very appreciated.

there are pics to be found somewhere here in the technical area showing the assembly of the Nugget-interior step by step.
According to these pics I would not recommend to take out the kitchen as the the block is mounted to the car on the rails on the floor as well as with several connectors to the side wall.
I assume the kitchen-block itself needs to be (partially) disassembled in order to reach these connections.
Another issue are the water- and the electrical connections. They have to be properly(!) disconnected AND reconnected afterwards...

I strongly suggest to rent an empty van for hauling-Jobs or to buy a Euroline-Version with detachable kitchen block in the trunk. The Euroline model is also available with flip-roof and top-bed.

The Nugget is, as far as I am concerned, not suitable for being disassembled several times.

All people didn´t find it worth the inconvenience to deconstruct the kitchen block.

Thanks to all of you for very valuable feedback and great images.

I forgot to make clear that I don´t need to remove the kitchen for hauling cargo, but need a few times a year have more seats inside.

Therefore I got an idea to remove the kitchen and add second seatbank (or any seat) to the rail system similar way as in Euroline (Euroline has 4 rails what is better). Maybee, there is enough space in Nugget with current layout to do that, but I don't expect it. Then I wouldn´t have any problem.

Euroline has solved seat system excellently, but camping facilities are reduced. Because I like to use the Nugget as camping van year round, I don't like to limit camping facilities.

An another idea was to exchange just seat beside the driver with Ford original 3 passengers seat. It would be fine too.

I know it´s hard to understand my problem, but I would like to solve it anyway with Nugget much more rather then converting Euroline back to the camping Nugget.

Any idea how to solve at least 6 seats at Nugget ?

in January I read an article of an autocamper, basic Ford Transit. You can built out everything. Kitchen also.

Just reopen my first post to this forum for those interested in adding one more sitting place in Nugget (exchange for the original double seat).
Only original fixing points are used.
I had tried already last year, and today once again because need to carry 6 persons..
Even sleeping on the bench is possible with no place limits.

I´m Czech, living in Prague.
Once a year I like to take my mother in law together with my family (2 + 3) to Croatia (house - no camping), therefore I had to resolve this problem.

First rebuilt was harder, because no experience.
The biggest problem (except of double seat) was plastic cover of right doors - doors is not able to close with Nugget original.
Because I own more transit, this is easy for me to use this part from other car.
Yesterday I done the job in 5 hours.
The original seat will be back after return from Croatia agan, and I will finally install my second not explored project Espar high altitude compansator

By the way I will try to get official stamp for this built (6 seats), but it is much harder in my country than in Germany - we will see ....
