Hello everyone, sorry for writing in English, but I cannot speak German.
I have a 2000 Ford Nugget, I am currently in Spain and in order to change the plates and register it to Spain, they need the towing hitch ball badge number but it looks as it has been deleted or anyway it's impossible to read it, any suggestions? Where can I get that number? If I don't find it, I will need to take off the whole towing hitch.

The problem ist that there were and are several manufacturers for towing hitches on the market. If the towing hitch ball itself is the problem buy a new one and mount it on the towing hitch. Normally the towing hitch ball is mounted by screws in order to make the replacement of the towing hitch ball possible.

Every repairshop should be able to replace the towing hitch ball.

If you need a certificate and nameplate only for the towing hitch ball, buy a new ballhead and replace the old one. That's the easiest way.

If you need the nameplate for the whole towing hitch (your second picture with the nameplate beside the power connnector) you have to contact the manufacturer of the hitch. Take a close look onto the hitch (Don't forget the rear side). Maybe you find a hammered in sparepart/part number with which we can identify the manufacturer.

To be honest - The hitch is 20 years old and I think it'll be very difficult to get support. Even we'll find out the manufacturer.

Thanks so much for your help, even my mechanic said that it would be better to just use any picture of any badge as it doesn't really matter for the MOT(ITV here in Spain).
Can I ask you to send me a closer picture of the badge from your hitch?
